Tuesday, March 3: Climate Graphs / Atlas Test Study Session
CLASSWORK:
There were several students who struggled with the assignment on the handout titled, "Climate Graph Assignment". These issues were primarily due to students having not taken the time to carefully read the directions. Mr. Clark took a large portion of the class to clarify the assignment, and provided class time for students to fix these.
For the latter portion of the class, Mr. Clark went over the material from the Atlas Intro Package (P. 1A - 12B) that would be tested tomorrow. The purpose was to help students know what to study for this test.

Friday, February 27: Graphing in Geography
CLASSWORK:
Mr. Clark started class by reassuring students that based on what we had learned about different types of graphs in Math last semester, this section should be a bit easier.
He then reviewed the different types of graphs (pie graphs, line graphs & bar graphs) as well as their primary purposes.
Next, Mr. Clark provided a lesson on the purpose and proper format of Climate graphs.
He then distributed the assignment from the handout titled, "Climate Graph Assignment", as well as the handout titled, "Climate Graph Assignment Rubric" - the second handout explains how the Climate Graph Assignment will be evaluated.
Students were then offered the remainder of the class to work on their climate graph assignments.
HOMEWORK:
No homework assigned today. Students will be expected to complete their climate graphs tomorrow in class.
